Founder & Technical Director
Jacqui co-founded MedScan3D in 2018, after an extensive track record working in the R&D industry. Jacqui manages every aspect of the business and oversees all client projects.
Previously, she held management roles in a nutraceutical start up and in a large orthopaedic implant company, acquiring skills in regulatory requirements, technical sales and business development. She has a strong technical background with A1st class honours degree in Chemistry and a Biomedical Engineering Research Masters from NUIG. In her spare time Jacqui likes to do yoga and run, she has completed 2 marathons and hopes to do more in the future.
Co-Founder & Director
James Wall has a BEng, Industrial and Process Engineering, from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Master’s degree in Project Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
James is an experienced entrepreneur and since 2015 is the Managing Director of 3D Technology Ltd., and later also joining MedScan3D as Director in 2018. James has an extensive knowledge of 3D printing, materials science, design for additive manufacturing and medical device design. James is also a successful oarsman and used to row for NUIG and Ireland.
Senior Sales & Technology Engineer
Johannes is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with expertise in CAD, medical device design and machine building. As a senior design engineer he grows our clients idea and brings the concept to fruition. His attributes include problem solving and innovation – no design job is too complex. Johannes is the main cog in our custom 3D printer, recently developed to our bespoke specifications in-house.
Johannes has a keen interest in photography and all things engineering, lucky for us!
Technical Design Executive
Martin is an experienced Medical Device designer with a background in Biomedical Engineering and Entrepreneurship. As one of the lead designers he brings the client from the Ideation stage through Concept & Design right to Prototyping & Validation.
He is a recipient of the Ernst & Young Design Thinking Scholarship during his Masters in NUIG and achieved commendation for his work in prosthetics during this time. Over COVID-19, he developed the product line of AMBI Safe under the MedScan3D brand.
In his free time, Martin likes to skydive, waterski and snowboard… just kidding, it’s mainly video games and photography.
Cillian is a Marie Curie researcher in BioImplant ITN, pursuing a PhD in Material Science with a focus on 3D Printing of Bioabsorbable Composite Materials for Orthopaedic Applications.
Cillian is also on a TV show on Comedy Central, a national station in the US.
Bob consults and teaches at the intersection of entrepreneurship and communications. His skills include branding, fundraising, business development, licensing and merchandising, human resources and strategic planning & implementation.
As to fun fact, he's addicted to the jumbo grilled hot dogs at the Galway Christmas Market. Last year he ate 29 of them during the market’s run.
Stuart brings with him a fifteen year career in marketing and brand management, working with both indigenous and multinational companies in developing marketing campaigns and strategies across a range of sectors. He is the Founder & CEO of MedTech Marketing Services and Co-Founder of the medical device conference MedTech West Summit.
Stuart grew up dreaming of a career in Formula 1, now he mainly drives his kids to school.
