Enhancing Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Planning Through 3D Digital Modelling

This case study highlights the effective use of 3D digital modelling to enhance pre-procedural planning for left atrial appendage occlusion. Through high-resolution image segmentation and 3D printing, clinicians were able to visualize patient-specific cardiac anatomy, assess access routes, and simulate device deployment. The model improved understanding of complex spatial relationships and supported more informed decision-making regarding catheter positioning and procedural strategy.
