This case study highlights the successful utilization of 3D digital technology to address the lack of patient regarding major ankle reconstructive surgery. Through the use of image segmentation and 3D rendering, the patient was able to observe the damage and misalignment of their ankle prior to surgery and appreciate the proposed surgical intervention.
